This year it's especially important that you shop and mail early. With Sears Easy Payment Plan you can
buy now-weeks ahead of Christmas-and budget your payments over several months.
Begin now to list all the items you want on the Easy Payment side of Sears order blank. You will be
pleasantly surprised at how many fine gifts your dollars will buy at Sears low prices.
For articles priced at $6.00 or less (including tax on sales, if any, and shipping charges) your down pay–
ment is only 103.*
For all other articles from this catalog, except Furniture, priced over $6.00, a down payment of 33Y,3 *
(one third) is required. For Furniture items priced over $6.00, your down payment is 20% * (one-fifth).

such amount must
be
added
to
the cash price
before
figuring the down payment.
How to Order
List the items you are ordering on the Easy
Payment side of the'enclosed order blank. Total
the cash prices and be sure your order amounts
to $10.00 or more.
The head of the household should fill in the
answers to the questions on the lower portion of
the order blank and sign it. Then'enclose a check
or money order for the required down payment
and mail the order to Sears.
For amount to send with order, see above.
If
your order contains some articles under $6.00
(I0%down) and some articles over $6.00 (33Y,%
down), or furniture (203 down), figure the
required down payment for each group sepa–
rately, including tax
(if
any) and shipping
charges. Then add these down payments together
and the total is the amount to send with order.
For amount payable monthly refer to the Pay–
ment Table at the right. Notice that the month–
ly payment is only $5 for any unpaid balance
up to $55.
Additional Purchases
Once you have an open account on our books,
you'll find it a real convenience. As you need
new things, you may add them to your current
account-in most cases with no increase in your
monthly payments.
If
the articles you add are
individually priced at
$6
or less (including tax
on sales, if any, and shipping charges), you need
not send a down payment. For items over $6,
the down payments as indicated above apply.
