..Where
imaginative ideas
become areality
.. like this child's "Model
T"
Fire Engine powered by a
real gasoline engine
It
has been said that a "Tin Lizzie"
could be had in any color as long as it
was black. Well here's an exception.
This half-scale lire engine is red. Fire
engine red. And it's modeled after the
famous Ford Model T-10. This turn-of–
the-century styling, plus the timeless
magic of a fire engine, will prove just
as exciting now as when the "Model
T" was king.
The angular looks and gleaming
brass continue right on up to its non–
stteamlined, straight-up-and-down
windshield. Even the spoked wheels
and knobby pneumatic rubber tires
look like the originals (although wheels
are tough Cycolac® plastic instead of
wood).
Budding smoke eaters will enjoy
clanging the brass bell and unlimber–
ing the 10 feet of real lire hose. Side–
mounted wooden ladders add realism.
Steel chassis and body; sleek fiber glass
fenders and running boards. Vinyl
leather-look upholstery completes the
authentic styling.
Reliable 3-HP, 4-cycle Briggs and
Stratton engine with recoil starter pro–
duces a top speed of 12 MPH. Side–
mounted levers operate forward, neu–
tral and reverse gears and the mechan–
ical brake. Throttle is on the steering
column. 16x2.125-in. tires. 72 inches
long, 36 inches wide, 38 inches high.
