Every part of the cabinet-base, columns, even the dial–
is constructed of Plexiglas® acrylics. Here's a material
so strong it is virtually shatterproof, so strong four slim
columns are able to support the entire weight of the
clock. Yet Plexiglas® is crystal clear so you can actually
see the fascinating innerworkings of the precision clock
movement.
The 8-day-wind pendulum movement is crafted in West
Germany. Westminster chimes faithfully reproduce the
chimes traditionally rung from the Victoria Clock of
England's House of Parliament. Full chime and strike
is sounded on the hour; partial chime is played on each
quarter-hour. Brass-color metal pendulum, weights and
chain. Dial has raised brass-color markers. Adjustable
levelers built into the base keep clock on even keel. 56
inches high; 12 inches wide; 12 inches deep. Movement
is guaranteed 1 year against faulty materials or work–
manship or return clock for free replacement. Clock is
shipped direct from factory on Long Island, N.Y. to you.
