If

you shop by mail, you'll find ordering easier by following these easy steps

If you can't visit us or phone your order in, it is very easy to do your shopping by

mail. Use the handy Shopping List Order Form on the back of this page.

PRINT THE INFORMATION CLEARLY, including your name and full address.

Make sure you have given us all the information before you mail it. Eaton's

nearest Catalogue House is printed on the front side of the Order Form.

If more than one member of your family orders from the catalogue, make sure

the same name is used, each time . This way your catalogues will be sent to you

as they are published.

Please give us all the facts

Supply complete, accurate information. Include catalogue number (with ALL

numeralsand letters),colournumberandcolourname, sizes and the item'sprice.

Check your garment size

Our Spring and Summer and our Fall and Winter catalogues carry complete

information about ordering garments for women, men, girls, boys, and chil–

dren. Have someone else measure you for your own clothing and check your

measurements with the charts. Make sure the item is catalogued in your size.

How to send your payment

If

you are using your Eaton's Account be sure to send us your account number.

If you are making a cash payment, include provincial sales tax where applica–

ble. Send a bank or postal money order or your personal cheque.

Do not send cash through the mail.

C.O.D. orders cost you money

The post office charges a 50c fee on all parcel post shipments of C.O.D. orders

up to and including $10 in value, on orders over $10 and up to $99 in value the

charge is $1 . Over $99 and up to $198.50, the charge is $1 .50. Order amounts

quoted include sales tax. These fees are shown as additional postage.

Express and transport companies also charge a collection fee on C.O.D. ship–

ments.

Note these C,Q.D, restrictions

Eaton's will not accept C.O.D. orders for any item that must be specially

engraved, embossed, cut, printed or made-to-order, for custom-engineered

plumbing or heating installations, or for certain bulky items requiring special

high-cost packing and shipping services.

C.O.D. shipments cannot be sent to certain boat points or to stations that do not

have freight or express agent or post office.

With an Eaton's Account you can avoid both the inconvenience and the re–

strictions of C.0 .D. service. Discover the new shopping convenience your

Exchanging and Returning Goods

To exchange goods please return item within 10 days together with purchase bill

Eaton'swants you to be satisfied. So, please examine your purchase carefully

before using it. If you require an exchange or refund, please return it within 1O

days.

As required by law when exchanging wearing apparel, the fibre content label

must be attached in its original state.

Worn or used merchandise will be accepted for repair, adjustment, exchange

or refund if it has proven defective under conditions of normal use for a reason–

able period of time, or within the terms of Eaton's Specific Warranty.

Follow these simple rules:

1. Always enclose the purchase bill for identification.

2. Wrap the article securely in original packing or equivalent.

We cannot be responsible for damage caused in transit.

3. If you reside in an area served by an Eaton's Catalogue Sales Office or Agen–

cy, contact them for assistance. If possible, small items should be returned

in person.

If

you are served by mail, transport or express-

• List each item you are returning . Show catalogue number, colour, size

and price. Include your name and address. If goods were purchased on an

Eaton'saccount, give number.

• Please tell us why you are returning the item .

• List the items you desire in exchange, preferably on one of our regular

order forms, and allow ample time for the goods to reach you .

• Wrap all merchandise in one parcel if possible.

• Print your name and address clearly in the upper left-hand corner (see

illustration).

Ship the most economical

way. Eaton's refunds lowest

rate applicable. You pay

the difference.

Goods weighing 35 lb or less

Return by parcel post. Enclose lists, documents and tags in the parcel. Do not ·

send separate letter. Pre-pay postage. Insurance protects you against loss.

Goods weighing over 35 lb

Return by express or transport, whichever is most economical. Mail docu–

ments, lists and instructions separately. Tell us how goods were shipped, and

keep carrier's receipt : you will need it if your shipment is lost or damaged in

transit.

NOTE: When necessary, return any heavy or bulky item with a War Cat the

beginning of the catalogue number to:

Do not ship bulky or heavy goods back to us unless we advise you to. Servicing

can often be arranged right in your locality or home. Contact your nearest Cata–

logue Sales Office or Sales Desk.
