Regular and Sale prices

It is our aim to make our pricing practices as clear as

possible and to give you information about the values

being offered. The following are explanations of price

terms used in this catalogue.

Eaton Regular is the catalogue selling price of an item

forthe life of this book.

Eaton Price identifies a sale price for those catalogue

1temswhich Eaton's believes to be of better value than

similar items generally available. Every effort is made

to make these values as valid as possible. They do not

take into account local pricing situations of like or

similar items in all communities.

Comparative Prices-Eaton Regular. when used with

Eaton Price to form a comparative price refers to the

price at which the identical item was offered in an

Eaton's Catalogue within the preceding 12 m0nths in

your geographical zone

Small order handling charge

A small order handling charge of 50¢ will be applied to

all orders with a total merchandise value of less than

$5.00. To avoid this charge we suggest you combine

all your small orders into one. In certain provinces we

are required to compute sales tax on the 50¢ .

Factory shipped

Items wuh S. For VF at the beginning of the catalogue

number are factory shipped. Please allow extra time

for delivery.

Toy returns

If exchange or adjustment 1s required on any toy pur–

chased before Christmas. returns must be made be–

If for any reason. the price of an item in this catalogue

1s reduced 1n another current catalogue you can be

Product Research Bureau

The Product Research Bureau was established in

1916 for the purpose of serving Eaton·s Customers

and providing technical know-how to the Company.

The Bureau has evolved since then and today 11 has five

laboratory functions. a quality control team and a

highly expert staff.

The Bureau performs tests to safeguard the customer

and the Company against products that fail to meet

the various government regulations. such as. Textile

Labelling Act. Hazardous Products Act. Food and

Drugs Act. etc. Products are thoroughly tested to

ensure good performance and high quality using

Eaton's Quality Assurance Standards.
