Mileage-rated guarantee for summer tires
Remember when a summer passenger-tire warranty guaranteed how many
miles you would get? Many don't anymore. OURS DOES!
Sears thinks whether you are paying 22.00or100.00 for a tire. you have a right
to expect a guaranteed mileage before it is worn out-and that's exactly what
we give you. For example, if we guarantee your tire will go 40.000 miles and it
wears out at 30,000 miles,we will simply credit you forthe miles you didn't get.
based on the current selling price of tire. In the example just stated you were
out 10,000 miles or 25% of what you paid.
If
the replacement cost of that tire is
60.00. we give you 15.00credittowards the purchase of a new Sears tire. We
think it's the onlyfairthing to do.And it tells you something aboutthe con–
fidence we have in our product.
*Monthly rated guarantee for winter tires
Tread Lifetime Guarantee- protects against failure due to tire defects or
normal road hazards for the Iife of the original tread. At our option, we will
repair at no charge, replace or refund in exchange for the worn tire–
charging only for the tread used.
Tread Wearout Guarantee- effective when your tread wears out within
tile specified months on your guarantee.Tire is worn out when less than
2/32•tread remains. We will in exchange for the worn tire, give you a per–
centage trade-in allowance based on the current selling price of your tire,
towards a replacement. See chart below.

Usage-Sears passenger ti res used for service other than normal passen–
ger cars are covered under Tread Lifetime Guarantee above.
Passenger Tires used on trucks are not covered by this guarantee.
Adjustment-Charges will be based on the current price in effect at the
store where the adjustment is made. Studs are not covered under this
guaraniee. Tires will be adjusted as if they were non-studded. Guarantee
will be honored at any Sears Retail Store or Catalogue Sales Office in
Canada upon presentation of the guarantee card. This guarantee does not
extend to consequential damage.
