Who can join?
The Club is open to anyone with a valid Sears all-purpose ac–
count in good standing. Your account number is also your
membership number. If you're already a member of Sears Cata–
logue Club. you're automatically enrolled in the Sears Club and
all your current points are transferred.

application below.
How do I earn points?
Points have the same value as purchase dollars, so it's easy to
see how many points you have earned. Your monthly statement
shows your current point total. All purchases on your Sears ac–
count, minus sales tax. earn points. If you return merchandise.
the appropriate number of points are deducted from your total.
The chart below shows how the points add up, and when certifi–
cates are available. As an added bonus, all purchases on the
statement indicating your enrolment will earn Club points auto–
matically, even if they were made before your enrolment date.
How do I get a certificate?
You qualify for a certificate when you reach a point level that
matches a certificate level (see below). Just send in the request
form accompanying your monthly statement, when you send in
your payment. Your certificate will be mailed immediately. When
you request and receive a certificate. the appropriate number of
points are deducted. Note, however. that fewer dollar purchases
are required to move from level to level...you may choose, at your
option, to let your points accumulate to the next certificate level.
Certificates have no cash value and are only redeemable
towards future Sears credit purchases. excluding gift certificates.
How do I redeem the certificate?
After receiving a Sears Club certificate, you may present it
when purchasing an order equal to or higher than the certificate
value. If the order has been delivered and it's not convenient for
you to visit a Sears location, send the certificate and proof of
purchase with your next payment. and the certificate value will
be credited to your account.
