Louisa May Alcott's classic story of
the same title. Each doll is exquisitely made
with the attention to detail only Madame Alex–
ander's dolls show: with hand-painted eye–
lashes, their hair is rooted, styled, combed, cut
and curled by hand; each of their hats and
bonnets are handmade using the finest
materials and ribbons; and each doll is individ–
ually dressed by hand. Marme and her five
children have a variety of printed and colored
cottons that are finely sewn into the full-skirted
day dresses of Victorian times.
