Specific Warranties
JCPenney and Manufacturers' Warranties. Your most important purchases
from JCPenney are covered by warranties. These warranties protect you
from basic defects in the merchandise and failure in use. All JCPenney and
Manufacturers' Warranties are included with the merchandise when it is
shipped. To obtain a separate copy of the warranty before purchase, write

If your merchandise has a JCPenney label on it, in or out of war–
ranty, contact GE Consumer Service for any of the following items: audio
equipment, color cameras, TVs, video cassette recorders, counter-top
microwave ovens, freezers, refrigerators, ranges, disposers, washers,
dryers, air conditioners, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and water heaters.

To arrange service for merchandise with a national brand label on
product (i.e. Panasonic, White/Westinghouse, Quasar, Soundesign,

When you need a part for your JCPenney merchandise, over 500
of

stores can scan their microfiche libraries in minutes to identify the
proper part and order it. They can even have it shipped, usually via United
Parcel Service, directly to you if you wish. Most parts are sent out within 24
hours of the initial request. You can also order directly by mail by using the
order form that appears on page 755 of our big Fall/Winter '90 Catalog.
Please have the following information handy when you contact us to order
replacement parts or Open Stock dinnerware: 1) A brief descriptio'n of the
TYPE of merchandise. 2) The MODEL NUMBER from the nameplate on the
merchandise. If you are unable to locate the nameplate, or a stamped or
stenciled number on the item, please provide a penciled outline of the part,
orthe part itself, and a description of the part's location on the item. 3) The
NAME and NUMBER of the PART. If you can't locate the number, describe
the part as best you can. 4) The pattern name and color number and name
for Open Stock

Catalog Prices
Notice on Prices:
Prices in this catalog
become effective on August 26,
1990. Toys, jewelry, and many other items with XU in the catalog number
are available until August6, 1991 at prices indicated (notices printed in this
catalog identify the "long-life" pages for you). Some items are offered at
savings that have a cut-off date of December 26, 1990 and a notice on the
page where the item is sold will tell you so.
All prices-are subject to
change starting January 22, 1991.
You always get our lowest current
price.
If we reduce a price from one catalog to another (as in our sale
books) you pay the lower price during the period when it is in effect-even
if you have ordered at the higher price. You don't even have to know that
the price was cut. If you send too much money, we automatically refund
any overpayment. When merchandise is returned, the refund or exchange
will be based on the price charged at the time of purchase.
We will fill an
orderfrom
any of our expired catalogs as long as the merchandise is in
stock. You will be charged the price that is in effect when we receive the
order. The price may have reverted to its former level or it may have been
altered in a new catalog.
