Don1 judge the fit of achild's shoe by adult standards. Children's shoes are designed differently, with a lot of toe
room in front and a heel that's narrowed for good support. Look for these indicators of good fit:
Length-Should have 'h to :y, inch of space between end of longest toe and tip of shoe.
Width-All toes should rest on the shoe sole. You should be able to pinch a small crease in the leather.
Toe Height-Should be able to wiggle toes. No toe impressions should be visible on top of shoe.
Heel-Should fit snugly to give support yetbe flexible enough to allow foot to turn and move.
Ankle Bone-Bone should clear top of shoe when child walks and stands.
