Care of your skates

We advise treating boots at least

twice a season with a good leather

preservative, preferably a wax-base

product. (See page 156.)

Remember to dry blades after every

use, to help protect the finish .

For safety and longer skate life, use

blade guards when off the ice. See

the selection at any Eaton store.

Skates should be stored in cool, dry

areas to help preserve the leathers.

Good sharpening gets the best from

your blades, especially as higher

competence is achieved.
