Big game from the Orient! The Japanese took the conventional pinball machine, up–

ended

it,

added many balls for faster action-and they called it Pachinko. That was in

1950, and overnight it became a national pastime. Their thousands of machines are periodi–

cally replaced, and the used ones are shipped to the U.S.A.; here they are completely recon–

ditioned, factory cleaned and inspected to insure hundreds more hours of fun and relaxa–

tion. You test your luck and your skill when you flick the lever, sending a steel ball whizzing

through mazes and spinning wheels and finally into a win pocket. As the balls drop and hit

each other down below, they make a "Pa-chin-ko" sound which became the name of the

game. Part of the charm of Pachinko is the variation in playing field design; each game is

an original and yours will vary slightly from the one shown. About 400 steel balls included.
