In 17th and 16th century France, under
the reign of the great Bourbon kings, a
group ofskilled artisans created unique
objet
d'art clocks whose beauty and
elegance have never been equaled.
Today, few of these clocks still
exist outside of museums and private
collections. However, through pains·
taking research into the original meth–
ods of production, we-are able to bring
you these exact replicas-clocks that
duplicate not only the design but also
the hand-craftedworkmanship ofthose
made hundreds of years ago. Even the
bell chimes that count the hours and
strike the half-hours are authentic.

signer, Charles Boullc, a protegc
ofLouis XIV. Wood case with tortoise–
shell design inlaid with brass and dec–
orated with 23'1-karat gold-plated gar–
lands and figure of cast bronze. With
