Bearcat Scanner. Built-in LED (Light Emitting Diode) readout. Automatic squelch
system to block out unnecessary noise. Lockout switch to skip unwanted frequencies.
Track tuning for full-band coverage on every channel. Variable rate control to let you
set scanning speed to any desired rate. Monitors five bands: VHF low band (32-50
MHz); 2-meter "Ham" band (146-148 MHz); VHF high band (148-174 MHz); UHF
band (420-470 MHz); UHF "T" band (470-512 MHz)-over 6,000frequenc1es. Push–
button programming of up to 50 channels-retained even 1f power goes off. Memory
selects and retains uo to 64 of the most active frequencies of a selected range. Push
"recall" button and they will be displayed one at a time. Automatic-count function
remembers how often programmed frequencies were activated while scanning.
Scanner searches for active frequencies. "Channel 1" lets you sample a chosen
frequency every two seconds. Built-in LED quartz-crystal clock. Solid-state integrated
c1rcu1try-no crystals to buy. Mobile mounting bracket, power cords. Needs no addi–
