that you can tell us exactly what you want. Below
we explain in detail how easy it is to write your
order. The sample cash order blank shown below
has been correctly filled out. Use it as your guide.
An explanation of parcel post, express and
freight charges is given on the following pages.
If
you send in a cash order that is to be shipped
If
you have an establishec\ credit account and
are ordering on your 30-day Charge Account or
on Time Payments you need not send
in
parcel
post charges as they are added to your account.
If
ordering express or freight shipments you need
not include transportation charges with order as
they are collected by your local agent at time
of
delivery. The only exception is when you order
a freight shipment on a cash order and there is
no local agent
in
your town to collect these
charges; in such cases send us the freight charges
(see page 77) at time you send
in
cash
orders.

Print or write plainly your full name and com–
plete address. Then list the merchandise you
want us to send you.
Sizes and colors are important!
Be sure to state
them where necessary, in addition to telling
us the catalog number, quantity, name of
article, pattern, finish and price. (To get the
best service, all members of your household
should order under one name.)

·Include Parcel Post Charges
• When Ordering for Cash
The required PARCEL POST charges must
be
included in money orders or checks sent
with cash orders. To get the amount of these
charges, list in the column provided on your
order blank the shipping weights as given on
each item in the catalog description. Then
add up the weights and change ounces to
fuII pounds (16 oz. to 1 lb.) and find the
parcel post rate in table on opposite pag:e. Be
careful not to include with parcel post items
the weights of any items to be shipped by
express or freight. Weights and rates of
each
type of shipment
must be figured separately.
Some items (which would seem ordinarily
mailable) are listed in our catalog as "not
mailable" because of excess size or other
postal restrictions. Figure these items to be
shipped by freight or express.
The only time you have to figure and send us
the freight charges is when there is no agent
in your town
and
you are ordering for cash.
Page 77 explains about freight charges.

On Cash Orders
• Enclose Money and Mail
Enclose required amount of money, with
your order, seal the envelope, stamp and
drop it in the mail. All remittances should be
in the Conn of either a money order or check.
If
you enclose coin or currency, you should
always register your letter.
