How Your Penneys Charge Account is Billed
Each month, when you receive your statement, YOU decide
how you wish to pay your account:
1. Pay your balance in full by your next billing date with no
service charge; or
2. Take months to pay-your statement will show your min–
imum monthly payment (see chart above). We add a small
service charge only AFTER all payments and credits are
deducted.
If
you wish, pay more than your minimum payment.
As your balance is reduced, so is your monthly payment and
service charge.

SIGN the Charge Account Agreement-both are on the re–
verse side of every order blank (pages 212 and 214). Then
mail the sheet to us-with or without an order! You'll receive
your permanent Penneys Charge Card by mail.
You can arrange to open an account by telephone. Just call
your nearest Penneys Catalog Center (see page 202), and tell
our Catalog Sales Associate you wish to open a Penneys
Charge Account. Or stop by at any Penneys Catalog Center
or Penneys Retail Store-they'll answer any questions you
may have.
It's Easy to "Add-ON" Purchases-Anytime
Just write your order: Then check and SIGN the "Regular
Charge Account" box on the front of the order blank-be
sure to write your Penneys Account number, too.
