we urge you to buy a Service C.Ontract because we believe you
will be a more satisfied customer. Remember that a television
set is a sensitive instrument and has from 10 to 15 times more
parts, and many more adjustments than a radio. If you are in
doubt about your eligibility to buy a Co11tract, please write
your Sears Mai"/ Order Personal Service Dept. for all necessary details.
NOTICE: The three Service Contracts below do not include (1)
antenna or accessories (2) antenna installation or (3) any service
other than that specified. Set ~xt page for Silvertone antennas and
accessorus which are requiud infringe areas. Labor ch.1rges for an–
tenna installation will vary according to type of installation, but will
be in keeping with Sears standard of fair pricing.
If you do not buy a Service Contract because you live outside
our service area and are not eligible, you must arrange for local
service at your own expense. During the first ninety days you
may return the set to Sears, in person or by prepaid freight or
express, if it needs repair (no free home service). Thereafter we
guarantee only the small tubes and picture tube and will replace
them within the first year if they are sent to us unbroken and
found to be defective.
THREE TYPES OF SERVICE
Service Contract No. 1. (a) Sears connects set to existing anten–
na (antenna or new antenna installation not included-see
NOTICE above). (b) Scars adjusts set for satisfactory perform–
ance and provides complete service whenever you need it at
your home or our service shop for one year with no additional
labor charges. (c) Sears guarantees all tubes, including
picture tube, and all other parts for one yeor.......$30.00
Service Contract No. 2. (a) Scars connectc set to existing anten–
na (antenna or new antenna installation not included-see
NOTICE above). (b) Sears adjusts set, provides complete
service at your home or our service shop for 90 days with no
additional labor charges. (c) Sears guarantees all tubes, in–
cluding picture tube 1 for one year; all other parts for 90 days.
(After 90 days any service calls to your home, or labor per–
formed at our service shops to replace tubes or parts, are sub–
ject to the regular charges prevailing in your arca.).$20.00
Service Contract No. 3. {a) Scars provides one call to connect
set to existing antenna (see NOTICE above) and to adjust set.
(b) Scars guarantees all tubes, including picture tube, for one
year; all other parts for 90 days. (c) During the first 90 days you
may return the set to your nearest Sears TV service shop for
free repair. However, any labor at your home (during and after
the first 90 days) wlll be charged for at the prevailing
